What it does
MCP bridge to XCREENER's XQL screener API for validating, explaining, and running XQL queries against live market data in Crypto, Forex, Indices, Commodities, and Metals. Built for traders and developers who want to express custom screening conditions and execute them from Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, or other stdio MCP clients.
- Validate XQL query syntax and execution plans before running them against live market data.
- Run multi-market screens to find oversold instruments, trending pairs, or other custom conditions across asset classes.
- Generate natural-language explanations of XQL queries and translate trading ideas into executable screener logic.
Tools this server exposes
| Tool | Does |
|---|---|
| xql_validate | Validate XQL query text by parsing and planning it without executing against live data. |
| xql_explain | Parse and plan an XQL query, returning its execution plan and a human-readable explanation. |
| xql_run | Parse, plan, and execute an XQL query against live market data, returning matching instruments. |
| xql_nl_reference | Reference document mapping natural-language trading phrases to XQL syntax. |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
