What it does
An MCP server that creates diagrams in draw.io format, rendered inline in chat or opened in the draw.io editor. Provides access to over 10,000 searchable diagram shapes and supports XML, CSV, and Mermaid formats. Available as a hosted MCP App server (no installation), an npm-installable MCP tool server, or via assistant plugins.
- Generate system architecture, flowchart, or database diagrams from natural language and view them inline in chat without leaving your conversation.
- Search draw.io's shape libraries (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, UML, BPMN, electrical, P&ID, etc.) to find the correct shapes for a diagram before creating it.
- Create diagrams in CSV or Mermaid format and open them in the draw.io editor for interactive editing and refinement.
