What it does
World Monitor exposes real-time global news, geopolitical signals, market data, and infrastructure monitoring through an MCP server interface. It aggregates news feeds, tracks country instability indices, monitors energy and financial markets, and provides situational awareness data for analysts, researchers, and decision-makers tracking global events.
- Query live news briefs and signals across military, economic, disaster, and escalation categories to track emerging global events.
- Retrieve country instability index scores and movements for 31 Tier-1 countries to assess geopolitical risk.
- Monitor energy infrastructure, market data, and commodity prices alongside geopolitical developments for contextual analysis.
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
