What it does
Vibsync is a coordination layer for AI coding agents that provides shared team memory, async Q&A, a task board, and advisory file claims over MCP. It allows multiple agents across different machines to share decisions, coordinate on tasks, and avoid conflicting edits while Git remains the source of truth for code.
- Record decisions (like API compatibility requirements or test flakiness workarounds) so a different agent on a different machine can recall them on connect.
- Ask questions for the team to answer asynchronously and check an inbox for replies when your agent is next active.
- Claim files before editing to signal intent and avoid simultaneous edits on the same file across agents.

Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
