What it does
This server provides trend data from Wikipedia and 30+ other sources (Google, TikTok, YouTube, Amazon, Reddit) through three tools that return normalized 0–100 scores. It is for developers building AI agents that need to query search volume, growth metrics, and current trending topics across multiple platforms with a single API key.
- Compare search interest growth for a topic across different platforms over custom time windows (7 days to 5 years).
- Retrieve current trending topics on a specific platform without specifying a keyword.
- Get historical time-series data for a single keyword on a single source to analyze trend patterns over time.
Tools this server exposes
| Tool | Does |
|---|---|
| get_time_series | Fetch historical trend data for one keyword on one source. |
| get_growth | Calculate percent change for a keyword across multiple time windows (7 days to 5 years) on one or more sources. |
| get_top_trends | Retrieve currently trending topics on a platform without requiring a keyword. |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
