What it does
Trends MCP exposes real-time trend data from Google, TikTok, YouTube, Amazon, Reddit, and 30+ other sources. It lets AI agents query search and social trends, growth rates, and current rankings without managing multiple API keys or platform-specific authentication.
- Compare trend growth for a keyword across multiple platforms in different time windows (7 days to 5 years).
- Retrieve what is currently trending on a specific platform to inform content decisions.
- Track historical trend volume and growth signals for a keyword on a single source over time.
Tools this server exposes
| Tool | Does |
|---|---|
| get_time_series | Fetch historical trend data for a keyword on a single source, with values normalized to 0–100. |
| get_growth | Get percent change for a keyword across multiple time windows (7 days to 5 years) in a single call. |
| get_top_trends | Retrieve currently ranking trends on a platform without specifying a keyword. |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
