What it does
MCP server that connects to svgicons.com, a catalog of 320K+ open-source SVG icons. Developers can search icon metadata, fetch icon details, and get recommendations for UIs. A Pro account adds raw SVG access, PNG export, and persistent Icon Collections.
- Search and fetch SVG icons by query or category, then get their raw SVG markup for use in a project.
- Describe a UI screen and receive icon recommendations with rationales to populate an interface.
- Create persistent Icon Collections, add catalog icons to them, and export as SVG, PNG, React components, or npm packages.
Tools this server exposes

| create_icon_kit | Create a persistent Icon Collection and optionally seed it with icon IDs (Pro only). |
| generate_icon_kit_for_project | Generate an Icon Collection from a project brief, screen list, or required concepts (Pro only). |
| list_icon_collections | List your Icon Collections with icon counts, name/slug filtering, and pagination (Pro only). |
| get_icon_collection | Read one Icon Collection with paginated entries, including custom-icon entries and their customized SVG bodies (Pro only). |
| add_icons_to_collection | Add catalog icons to an existing collection (Pro only). |
| remove_icon_from_collection | Remove an icon from a collection by entry or all variants (Pro only). |
| export_icon_png | Render one icon as a PNG file or ZIP of PNG variants as base64 payload (Pro only). |
| export_icon_collection | Queue an Icon Collection export to SVG folders, sprites, component libraries, or npm packages (Pro only). |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
