What it does
This MCP server connects AI agents and coding assistants to Postman workspaces, collections, specifications, and environments. It provides tools to query and modify Postman API resources, with multiple configuration levels ranging from basic operations to code generation and full API access.
- Modify Postman collections, workspaces, or environments through an AI assistant.
- Generate client code from API definitions stored in Postman.
- Search Postman documentation and learning resources to discover API concepts and features.
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
