What it does
Mailverdict is an email validation API that detects disposable/burner emails, role accounts, free providers, validates MX records, and suggests domain typos. It's designed for developers building signup flows who need maintained, daily-updated email classification without signup or API keys.
- Screen email addresses during signup to reject burner accounts and role addresses like info@company.com
- Suggest corrections when users mistype their email domain (e.g., gmial.com → gmail.com)
- Check only the domain part of an email for disposable/typo detection without transmitting the full address
Tools this server exposes
| Tool | Does |
|---|---|
| check_email | Validate a full email address and return disposable status, role detection, free-provider classification, MX validation, and typo suggestions. |
| check_domain | Check just the domain part of an email for disposable and typo detection without requiring the full email address. |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
