What it does
Exposes search and retrieval tools for 14M+ USPTO trademark records. Developers use this to let AI agents search by mark text, owner, goods/services, class, status, and date—then fetch full records by serial number.
- Search for similar marks across the entire federal trademark register to screen a list of candidate brand names for conflicts.
- Look up live trademarks in a specific class and goods category to understand what's already protected in a market segment.
- Retrieve the complete record for a known trademark serial number to get full ownership, status history, and classification details.
