What it does
Glif is a hosted media-generation agent that exposes tools for creating images, video, and audio, along with transcription, HTML rendering, web search, and code execution. It authenticates via OAuth and works with any MCP client, charging credits from your Glif account for generation tasks.
- Generate images, video, or audio by describing what you want in plain language and polling for the results.
- Transcribe audio, render HTML to images, or search the web as part of a multi-step workflow.
- Chain media operations together in a single request and retrieve the outputs as CDN URLs.
Tools this server exposes
| Tool | Does |
|---|---|
| compose_project | Describe media generation tasks in plain language; Glif selects models and chains steps, returning a job_id to poll for results. |
| get_job_status | Poll the status of a media generation job and retrieve the generated media as resource_link blocks with CDN URLs. |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
