What it does
This server lets you search a catalog of 41,000+ agent skills, MCP servers, Claude Code plugins, and agentic loops from within any MCP-capable agent. It provides access to real install counts and GitHub stars refreshed weekly, with no authentication required.
- Find an MCP server for a specific task, like database integration or PDF handling, with ready-to-use install commands.
- Discover agent skills and plugins across categories to extend your agent's capabilities.
- Check what tools have been recently updated or added to the ecosystem.
Tools this server exposes
| Tool | Does |
|---|---|
| search_tools | Search across agent skills, MCP servers, plugins, and loops with optional category filtering, returning ranked results with install commands and catalog links. |
| get_tool | Retrieve full details for a single tool including description, repository, license, install command, and extracted capabilities. |
| list_categories | List the four tool categories with current item counts. |
| whats_new | Show recently updated tools sorted by upstream push date. |
| ecosystem_stats | Return measured statistics about the ecosystem including maintainer count, license coverage, and star distribution. |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
