What it does
A hosted MCP server providing curated knowledge about football's Laws of the Game and major competitions. Every claim returned includes citations to primary sources and a confidence score, enabling agents to show their reasoning rather than assert unsourced answers.
- Look up the exact wording of specific Laws of the Game and when they apply, such as offside or handball rules.
- Answer questions about VAR protocol, including when video review is permitted and what incidents it can address.
- Determine competition qualification paths and formats, such as how teams qualify for the Champions League.
Tools this server exposes
| Tool | Does |
|---|---|
| get_overview | Returns corpus overview: object counts by type, published topics, and freshness indicators to determine if the corpus can answer your question. |
| search | Full-text search over the knowledge graph with relevance scores and matched field information. |
| answer | Answers a natural language question from the corpus, returning matched objects with claims, sources, and confidence values. |
| get_entity | Fetches a single knowledge object by id, including all its claims and source citations. |
| get_topic | Lists all knowledge objects tagged with a given topic. |
| get_related | Returns graph neighbours of an object: outgoing and incoming relations with relation types. |
| get_sources | Returns the complete source registry, or sources cited by a specific object. |
| get_latest | Returns most recently verified knowledge objects as a freshness signal. |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
