What it does
Files.com MCP Server exposes Files.com file transfer and automation operations to language models via the Model Context Protocol. It is for developers and operations teams who want to integrate Files.com file management, user provisioning, and workflow automation into AI agents.
- Query, upload, download, and manage files and folders in your Files.com environment from an AI assistant.
- Build AI agents that automatically retrieve or archive files in response to requests or events.
- Enable language models to create users, provision folders, decrypt/encrypt files, and manage automations within Files.com.

Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
