What it does
Cernion Energy Tools is a Node.js/Moleculer backend platform with 138 services and 1007 API paths for energy-sector automation and decision support. It is designed for Stadtwerke, distribution-system operators and energy-service teams to handle grid planning, regulatory compliance, and operational workflows while maintaining human oversight and auditable evidence trails.
- Validate grid-connection scenarios and assess technical feasibility with regulatory compliance checks.
- Build responsibility matrices and evidence dossiers for energy-sharing, redispatch and §14a EnWG processes.
- Automate customer-service workflows and capability lookups while keeping write operations and consequential decisions in draft or pending-confirmation states for human review.
Tools this server exposes
| Tool | Does |
|---|---|
| capability-broker | Maps energy-domain objectives to curated service chains instead of exposing the full tool catalogue to an agent. |
| personal-agent | Maintains session state, receipts, dossiers and work continuity across multiple interactions. |
| evidence-revalidation | Identifies and rechecks dependent decisions when MaStR assets, datapoints or evidence items change. |
| object-store | Stores internal data, external evidence, tenant memory and audit artifacts. |
| HITL-governance | Enforces human-in-the-loop boundaries and clarification policies for draft, prepare and pending-confirmation states. |
| VDMI-service | Handles responsibility matrix and role logic for energy-domain processes. |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
