What it does
An MCP server that exposes Japan-specific geodata APIs for looking up cadastral lot numbers (chiban) and reverse geocoding. It is for AI agents and developers working with Japanese property data, real estate transactions, or land registries.
- Convert coordinates to a chiban (cadastral lot number) for property registry lookups in Japan.
- Reverse geocode coordinates to a residential address in Japanese format (prefecture, municipality, district, postal code).
- Look up both the residential address and chiban for a location in a single call for real estate due diligence workflows.
Tools this server exposes
| Tool | Does |
|---|---|
| get_parcel | Returns the chiban (cadastral lot number) and administrative divisions for coordinates. |
| reverse_geocode | Returns the nearest residential address in Japanese format for coordinates. |
| geocode | Returns up to 10 candidate locations matching a partial Japanese address. |
| lookup_location | Returns both residential address and chiban for coordinates in a single call. |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
