What it does
Imprint is a PDF generator that converts Markdown to print-ready PDFs with Chinese typographic standards and design themes. It includes an automated quality report (0–100 score) that verifies typography, accessibility, and formatting rules. Use this server to generate formatted documents programmatically via Claude or other AI agents.
- Generate academic papers, reports, or technical documents from Markdown with automatic theme selection and typographic compliance checking.
- Create standardized documents (Chinese government forms, IEEE papers, resumes) from templates with one command.
- Embed PDF generation into AI agent workflows so Claude or other tools can produce publication-ready documents with quality verification.
Tools this server exposes
| Tool | Does |
|---|---|
| generate_pdf | Convert Markdown file to PDF with optional theme selection and output path specification. |
| list_themes | Return available themes (24 built-in themes including modern, academic, gongwen, ieee, and others). |
| create_template | Generate a new Markdown template from predefined types (report, paper, resume, letter, gongwen, ieee). |
| get_quality_report | Retrieve the print-quality assessment score (0–100) and detailed checklist for a generated PDF. |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
