What it does
KDAN PDF MCP is an MCP connector that allows Claude and ChatGPT users to upload, edit, compress, protect, redact, and compare PDFs using natural language commands. It requires no account, installation, or credit card, and works by connecting KDAN's PDF tools to AI assistants.
- Compress large PDF files and add password protection before sharing documents
- Redact sensitive information like email addresses and ID numbers from specific pages in contracts or resumes
- Compare two versions of a PDF document side-by-side to highlight differences between them

| Tool | Does |

| get_download_link | Generate a download link for the edited PDF file |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
