What it does
This MCP server provides measured data about the x402 ecosystem, including endpoint reliability and live payment verification results. It is for developers building on or investigating the x402 micropayment protocol.
- Check which x402 endpoints actually accept payment by querying the census of 60 measured endpoints with their settlement status.
- Parse x402 payment challenges correctly by referencing findings that 66.7% of endpoints return the challenge only in headers, not in the response body.
- Understand x402 protocol implementation details such as the required `accepted` field in v2 payloads and common integration pitfalls.
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
