What it does
This server exposes TikTok hashtag and search interest trends via the Trends API. It provides historical volume data, growth metrics over time windows, and live trending hashtags. Use it to track hashtag popularity, measure growth over specific periods, and identify current trending content on TikTok.
- Get historical volume data for a hashtag over time to understand past popularity trends.
- Calculate percentage growth of a hashtag over predefined windows like 3 months, 12 months, or year-to-date.
- Fetch current live trending hashtags, searches, and products on TikTok with pagination support.
Tools this server exposes
| Tool | Does |
|---|---|
| get_time_series | Retrieve historical TikTok hashtag volume data as a time series with date, value (0-100 index), and optional absolute volume. |
| get_growth | Calculate hashtag growth percentage and direction over specified time windows (7D, 3M, 12M, YTD, custom dates, etc.). |
| get_live | Fetch current live trending TikTok hashtags, searches, or products with rank and pagination options. |
| get_top_trends | Get live trending feeds for TikTok Trending Hashtags, TikTok Trending Searches, or TikTok Shop Hot Products. |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
