What it does
This MCP server exposes app download trends and chart rankings for iOS and Android via the Trends API. It provides historical Android download data and live iOS App Store and Google Play chart feeds, intended for developers tracking app demand and market position.
- Retrieve a historical time series of download index values for an Android app by its bundle ID to track demand over time.
- Calculate percentage growth in app downloads over configurable time windows such as 3M, 12M, or custom date ranges.
- Fetch live top chart rankings from App Store Top Free, App Store Top Paid, or Google Play with pagination support.
Tools this server exposes
| Tool | Does |
|---|---|
| get_time_series | Returns a dated index series (0–100) of app download demand for a given keyword or bundle ID. |
| get_growth | Returns percentage growth and direction for an app's downloads over one or more specified time windows. |
| get_live | Returns a paginated snapshot of currently trending apps from live iOS or Android chart feeds. |
| get_top_trends | Returns top trend data for a specified chart type such as App Store Top Free or Google Play. |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
