What it does
Exposes six tools for searching academic literature across OpenAlex, Crossref, arXiv, OpenCitations and PubMed. Designed for researchers, students, and AI agents needing to query scholarly publications and citations from multiple sources through a single endpoint.
- Search for papers by keyword, author, or publication year across multiple academic databases.
- Retrieve citation data and relationships between academic works.
- Build literature reviews by querying structured metadata from open access scholarly sources.
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
