Sandbox As A Service MCP server
What it does
This MCP server gives Claude access to dedicated Linux virtual machines where it can run commands, manage files, and expose web services. It is for developers who need Claude to execute code, test applications, or run scripts in an isolated environment.
- Run shell commands and scripts in a real Linux VM to test code or perform system-level operations.
- Write files to the VM, execute programs that generate output, and read the results back to Claude.
- Expose a web server running inside the sandbox on a public HTTPS URL for testing or demonstration.
Tools this server exposes
| Tool | Does |

| run_command | Executes a shell command in the sandbox and returns stdout, stderr, and exit code. |
| write_file | Writes a file to the sandbox. |
| read_file | Reads a file from the sandbox. |
| list_files | Lists the contents of a directory in the sandbox. |
| expose_port | Exposes a port from the sandbox on a public HTTPS URL. |
| get_sandbox | Returns status, size, and expiry information for a sandbox. |
| list_sandboxes | Lists all sandboxes on the account, sorted by newest first. |

| destroy_sandbox | Destroys a sandbox and stops billing for it. |
| get_usage | Returns remaining credit and recent usage information. |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
