Devtools MCP server

What it does

Developer Toolkit MCP provides five utilities: UUID generation (v4/v5), timestamp conversion with Beijing time support, unit conversion across length/weight/temperature/data storage, JSON formatting and validation, and QR code generation as SVG or PNG. It is for developers who need quick access to these common tools without external API calls or setup.

• Generate UUIDs in bulk or create deterministic v5 UUIDs from a namespace and name.
• Convert between Unix timestamps and human-readable dates in Beijing time, or parse various date string formats.
• Convert units across categories like kilometers to miles, Celsius to Fahrenheit, or GB to MB.

Tools this server exposes

generate_uuid	Generate v4 random UUIDs or v5 namespaced UUIDs; supports generating 1–1000 at once.
convert_timestamp	Convert Unix timestamps (seconds or milliseconds) to ISO 8601 Beijing time with weekday and readable form, or parse date strings to Unix timestamps.
convert_unit	Convert numeric values between units in length, weight, temperature, and data storage categories; accepts Chinese unit names.
format_json	Format JSON with pretty-printing, minify, or validate; returns error location and context for invalid JSON.
generate_qr	Generate QR codes from URLs, text, or WiFi strings as SVG (vector) or base64-encoded PNG.

Before you enable it

An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
