Microsoft Fabric MCP server
What it does
This MCP server exposes tools for interacting with Microsoft Fabric, a unified data and analytics platform. It allows LLM-based applications to connect with Fabric services through the Model Context Protocol standard.
- Query and analyze data stored in Microsoft Fabric workspaces from an AI assistant or IDE
- Automate data pipeline operations and monitoring within Fabric
- Retrieve metadata and manage Fabric resources programmatically
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
