What it does
The MCP Registry is a central directory for discovering and publishing MCP servers. It provides an API that MCP clients can query to find available servers and allows server authors to register their servers for discovery.
- Query the registry API to retrieve a list of available MCP servers for installation or integration into an MCP client.
- Publish a new MCP server to the registry so it can be discovered by MCP clients and users.
- Browse the ecosystem of MCP servers available in the official registry to understand what integrations exist.
Tools this server exposes

| mcp-publisher | A CLI tool for publishing MCP servers to the registry. |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
