What it does
The GitKraken MCP Server exposes git operations, issue management, and pull request workflows across GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket and other platforms. It is for developers who want to manage multiple repositories and work items through a single interface with AI-assisted commits and PR generation.
- Create and manage work items across multiple repositories simultaneously from the command line.
- Generate commit messages and pull requests using AI based on your code changes.
- Query and manage issues and work items integrated with your git hosting provider.
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
