What it does
A stdio MCP server that provides offline linting of Sparkplug B MQTT topics, UNS naming convention checks, and an online industrial AI-readiness diagnostic. It requires no API key, account, or environment variables. Intended for developers and integrators working with Unified Namespace and Sparkplug B infrastructure.
- Validate one or more MQTT topic strings against the Sparkplug B 3.0 grammar to catch malformed levels, wrong message types, or problematic identifier characters.
- Check a set of UNS topic paths for naming inconsistencies such as mixed casing, case collisions between siblings, whitespace in segments, and duplicate paths.
- Submit a 16-answer intake form to receive a scored industrial AI-readiness report covering ten axes, a maturity stage, and identified foundation gaps.
Tools this server exposes
| Tool | Does |
|---|---|
| lint_sparkplug_topic | Validates one or more MQTT topic strings against the Sparkplug B 3.0 grammar, returning ordered findings with parsed topic parts; runs entirely offline. |
| check_uns_namespace | Checks a set of UNS topic paths for naming inconsistencies including depth variation, casing conflicts, whitespace, duplicates, and wildcards; runs entirely off |
| run_readiness_diagnostic | Sends a 16-answer self-reported intake to the dxpert.ai API and returns a scored industrial AI-readiness report with maturity stage and gap analysis; requires n |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
