What it does

Apprise R is a Rust MCP server that routes notifications through an upstream Apprise API server to dozens of delivery backends. It lets agents send tagged notifications and check server health via stdio or HTTP transport.

  • Send notifications to preconfigured tags managed by an upstream Apprise server.
  • Send one-off notifications directly to Apprise URL schemas without stored configuration.
  • Check the health status of an upstream Apprise API server.

Before you enable it

An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
