What it does
CloudeIDE exposes a command-line tool and MCP server that let you deploy applications from your terminal or give an AI coding agent the ability to build, deploy, and manage deployments. It is for developers who want to automate deployment workflows or enable AI agents to ship code end-to-end.
- Deploy a local project to a public URL from the terminal without opening a browser.
- Give an AI coding agent tools to deploy, monitor builds, read logs, and roll back deployments.
- Integrate CloudeIDE deployments into CI pipelines with JSON output and specific exit codes for error handling.
Tools this server exposes
| Tool | Does |
|---|---|
| deploy | Build and publish the current directory to a live URL. |
| login | Authenticate with an API token from CloudeIDE settings. |
| install | Configure the MCP server for Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex editors. |
| doctor | Check editor configuration and report issues. |
| watch | Monitor build progress during deployment. |
| rollback | Revert to a previous deployment. |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
