What it does
CliDeck MCP is a knowledge system that provides deterministic answers to technical questions about networking without calling an AI model at read time. It stores version-aware facts extracted from official documentation and returns "unknown" rather than guessing when information is unavailable. It is for AI agents that need exact, specialized, and current technical knowledge.
- Query network device configurations and procedures for specific OS versions without hallucination.
- Look up exact commands and restrictions for networking equipment where version precision matters.
- Track network knowledge updates over time with immutable revisions and version-aware retrieval.
Tools this server exposes
| Tool | Does |
|---|---|
| network_knowledge_query | Query deterministic answers about network devices, commands, and procedures by device type and OS version. |
| evidence_upload | Submit device output, logs, or PDFs for analysis against known network knowledge with local redaction. |
| knowledge_search | Search the published network knowledge base by topic, device, or version. |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
