What it does
Bolthub SDK provides open-source packages for building payment-enabled MCP tools and agents using Lightning (L402). It includes a payments SDK for both tool providers and consumers, an MCP server that aggregates multiple tools and APIs under a single budget, CLI tools, and verification middleware for validating gateway signatures.
- Add per-call payment to your MCP tools or HTTP endpoints, with payments settling directly to your wallet over Lightning.
- Consume paid MCP tools and APIs within a single shared Lightning budget managed across multiple tool calls.
- Aggregate the bolthub marketplace, specific payment gateways, and your own MCP servers into one MCP server instance with shared budget tracking.
