What it does
Bird provides tools to send and receive messages via email, SMS, WhatsApp, and voice through a single API. It is for developers building agents that need to operate Bird's communications platform.
- Send transactional emails, SMS, or WhatsApp messages from an agent to users.
- Retrieve delivery status and details of sent messages to confirm they reached their destination.
- Create and manage Bird accounts and workspaces programmatically without browser interaction.
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
