What it does
Basedash MCP connects Claude and other AI tools to live company data through an AI-native BI platform. You can ask questions of workspace data, create and edit dashboards and charts, and list available data sources, all with governed access via OAuth.
- Ask natural language questions about live company data and receive answers from your workspace.
- Create and edit dashboards and charts programmatically and get durable URLs to share results.
- List and inspect data sources, dashboards, and charts available in your Basedash workspace.

Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
