What it does
An MCP server that exposes ByteDance's Seedream AI image generation and editing models through the AceDataCloud API. It allows developers to generate images from text prompts, edit existing images with layer decomposition, and track generation tasks from Claude, VS Code, and other MCP-compatible clients.
- Generate images from text prompts in Chinese or English using Seedream v5.0, v4.5, or v4.0 models.
- Edit existing images or decompose them into a base layer plus up to 16 transparent PNG layers for selective modification.
- Monitor the progress and retrieve results of asynchronous image generation and editing tasks.
Tools this server exposes
| Tool | Does |

| seedream_decompose_image | Split one image into a base and up to 16 positioned transparent layers. |
| seedream_get_task | Query the status and result of a Seedream image generation or edit task. |
| seedream_get_tasks_batch | Query multiple Seedream image tasks at once. |
| seedream_list_models | List all available Seedream models with their capabilities and pricing. |
| seedream_list_sizes | List all available image sizes and resolution options for Seedream. |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
