What it does
DELTA Witness is a trust layer that captures and verifies public web pages at specific moments, recording timestamped hashes and enabling software to make preflight decisions based on observed state. It serves developers building autonomous systems that need to verify what a public source said before taking action.
- Capture the current state of a public web page and receive a timestamped hash for later verification.
- Compare a fresh observation of a page against prior captured state or custom rules to decide whether to proceed with an autonomous action.
- Prepay for a set number of verification checks as an authenticated reseller and receive HMAC-signed webhook notifications of results.
Tools this server exposes
| Tool | Does |
|---|---|
| capture | POST /v1/capture preserves what a public page currently says and returns a timestamped hash. |
| preflight | POST /v1/preflight compares a fresh observation of a page with prior proof hashes or explicit text rules to enable deterministic decision-making. |
| watch | Allows authenticated resellers to prepay for verification checks and receive HMAC-signed webhooks with results. |
Before you enable it
An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
