What it does

An MCP server that connects AI agents to PayPerByte, a service offering cryptographically attested data feeds. Agents can discover feeds, purchase data via x402 micropayments (settled in USDC on Base mainnet), subscribe to streams on testnet, and verify attestations before acting on responses.

  • Screen a merchant domain and address before settling a payment, receiving a signed ALLOW/WARN/BLOCK verdict with an EIP-712 attestation receipt.
  • Fetch weather, earthquake, market, or security data feeds on-demand, paying per call with cryptographic proof of delivery integrity.
  • Subscribe to continuous data streams on Arbitrum Sepolia testnet and query fact-oracle publishers for signed answers with citations.

Tools this server exposes

ToolDoes
byte_buy_dataPurchase data from a PayPerByte feed via x402 on Base mainnet, paying real USDC; supports both GET requests and POST queries to verdict oracles.
byte_subscribeSubscribe to a continuous data stream on Arbitrum Sepolia testnet with automatic MockUSDC settlement for each delivery.
byte_query_fact_oraclePost a signed EIP-712 question to a registered fact-oracle publisher on testnet for an on-chain signed answer with citations.
byte_discover_feedsList and search the PayPerByte catalog of available data feeds.

Before you enable it

An MCP server runs with whatever access you give it. Start with a development account rather than production, and check which tools the server exposes before you let an agent call them unattended.
